We are now able to resume on-site consultations in accordance with the recommended social distancing measures.
Our aim is to maintain social distancing at a distance of 2m wherever possible, including while arriving at and departing from your home. We may need to wear face masks and gloves where required and whilst inside enclosed spaces.
As a large part of our on site consultations are carried out in the garden, we will need minimal access to the main home.
If we do need to enter the home, we will advise you and offer assistance in best practices for all concerned.
As the global situation around COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”) starts to ease in England we want to reassure all our valued customers that we are monitoring official guidance very closely and will continue to take all necessary measures to support your health and well-being.
Providing our employees. teams & customers with a high quality, enjoyable and safe service is our top priority.
Given the intense focus on steps being taken to halt the spread of the virus, we would like to reassure our customers that both Contemporary Log Living and our manufacturers have implemented stringent health and safety policies, with strict practices and procedures in place designed to protect our customers, employees, installation teams & ground workers at all times.
Lodge Style Annexes – Manufactured Off-Site
Local planning authorities are still dealing with your planning applications during the Coronavirus.
Our manufacturer has re-started manufacturing following the Government guidelines and will advise us of any unexpected delays in manufacture.
As the supply & delivery of our lodge style annexes takes place without close contact with our customers we are confident this will continue, albeit in line with current guidelines regarding the Coronavirus and the tentative steps being taken following the lock down period.
The show site will shortly be available on a prior appointment basis only.
Custom – Build On Site Annexes
Local Planning Authorities are still processing Planning Applications during this time.
Custom annexes builds can now start to resume although without hotel accommodation and this is still challenging.
We are constantly reviewing this on a daily basis and will keep our customers informed of any changes to timescales given which we believe will be minimal.
As most of annexe building is remote from the main house and not in close proximity to the customers on a day to day basis disruption and close contact will be minimal.
We are also looking into self-catering options for our installation teams if they are required to work away as we think this will provide a safer environment for them given the current Government guidance regarding closure of restaurants and pubs for the time being.
We will continue to monitor the situation and look at various ways in which we can prioritise the health & safety of our customers and installers on site and in transit.

Staying Alert, Protecting The NHS & Saving Lives
On a personal note, as a business we believe we have a responsibility to take social distancing very seriously wherever possible.
We currently work from home as does our Commercial Manager who is based in South Yorkshire.
It is a series of simple things that we can all do that works at contributing to protect all the hard work we’ve all done to help curb the spread of the Coronavirus.
So we will continue to follow the guidelines set by the Government and continue to steer through these choppy waters of change and hope you bear with any inconvenience for a while as we transition from lock down to taking baby steps towards more normal working & manufacturing conditions.
Stay safe & we’ll be glad to assist you in anyway we can should you have any questions.
Until then, all the best !
