5 Surprisingly Good Features Of Contemporary Mobile Home Living That Make Life Easier
Affordable, Stylish, Well Designed And The Best In Luxury Mobile Home Living
Note from Pete : Contemporary Mobile Home Living continues to be a trend the UK is embracing with open arms.
Many thanks again to everyone in the beautiful counties of Somerset and Devon for your hospitality over the last few weeks, it’s inspiring to meet such enterprising people who have chosen to live and breathe fresh country air every day, working very hard on their businesses and reaping the benefits of unrivalled countryside everywhere they look.
How green is my England is certainly true and I am always amazed at how many people live tucked away from it all surrounded by lakes and woodlands and yet still be less than 10 miles away from a motorway or a major town or city.
So this week’s Newletter is inspired by the comments we receive about the little details that make all the difference when it comes to Contemporary Mobile Home Living.
Feature Article :5 Surprisingly Good Features Of Contemporary Mobile Home Living That Make Life Easier
Home Automation Even James Bond Would Envy
The stunning Finnish Contemporary Mobile Home that was featured at Eco-Build in London earlier this year not only sets the pulses racing with it’s stunning interior design but the irresistible wow factor is the amazing Home Automation system.
The days of when James Bond was the only one with gadgets are long gone as we all live in a new age when there are APPS for everything on your phone and now you can control everything from lighting, multiroom audio, security, internet connection, games consoles, sprinklers, windows, shutters, blinds and dozens of other applications in your home from a complete customised control panel.
Saving you up to 25% on your energy bills too all low voltage, LED lighting can be controlled either in the home or remotely so you can time everything to create the perfect welcome back home moment every time to enhance your mobile home living.
The Little Known Carbon Benefits Of Log Home Construction
In a recent report by the Scottish Forestry Commission it was revealed that a building with an increased timber content can have an 86% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions over a typical English build.
The study was based on a 3 bedroom house which uses 31.227 square metres of timber (around 156 trees) with an average age of 90 years. Taking into account the absorbing of CO2 over the course of the life of the tree and including manufacture and transportation costs the study revealed that the Log Home example gave a negative absoption figure of -86.88 tonnes of CO2 making it better for the environment and healthier for you.
These carbon figures can be decreased further by the use of environmentally friendly insulation products too. If you are thinking of Contemporary Log Living in the future it is difficult to think of a more environmentally friendly method of construction.
The New Benefits Of High Quality Timber Windows
Timber is the new eco-friendly material of today, yet obviously it has been around us forever. A natural, renewable and sustainable source packed with charm and character.
High performance timber windows are specifically designed to resist warping and twisting and they can easily be double or triple glazed and incorporate the sophisticated window locking and high security features that are often sold with UPVC windows and doors.
If you are considering painting wooden windows opt for the factory spray finish to avoid a painstaking task or choose a stain for added warmth and appeal. These days the factory applied micro-porous coatings provide maximum protection with minimal maintenance.
Flat Pack Homes TV Show Feature A £250,000 Lodge Style Holiday Home In The Lake District
Even if Contemporary Log Living or mobile home living is not for you as your permanent residential home right now, one of our mobile home living lodges or our popular Finnish Contemporary mobile make for the perfect holiday home.
Flat Pack Homes TV, featuring Amanda Lamb as the presenter recently showed a young family opting to lease a Contemporary, fully furnished lodge style mobile home sited in the Lake District.
It was great to see the small development of 5 concrete slabs spring into a select group of holiday homes for 5 couples or families who can enjoy a relaxing get away weekend whenever they choose.
The lease term was for life and the cost was £250,000 sited and furnished. The delivery of the home in two parts on the back of a lorry was not something you see every day but the end result was a stunning 2 bedroomed lodge for a family to enjoy for many years to come and much less hassle than a second home.
Ready Furnished With Everything You See
If you are anything like me you will find it hard to resist the signs that say “Show Home Open” as keeping up to date with interior design trends and accessories, colours and the latest in sparkly rugs is a task in itself.
So when people visit our showmodels and what mobile home living is really like such as the very popular Olympia that we launched just last week it can be difficult to comprehend that unlike those Show Homes that builders stage so beautifully everything you see in our showmodels comes with them in the price!
All you have to do is select your preferences from the range of colours and finishes available and you will have that show home feel to your new Contemporary Mobile Home.
You can of course opt for unfurnished if you prefer but when you think about an instant second home or holiday home why not make it as easy as possible and have the entire package pre-built and delivered to site.
Then all you need to do is unpack the corkscrew, open a bottle of wine and enjoy!
